There exist a number of interesting class activities and projects related to cryptography. These activities help students to better understand concepts and procedures of private and public key cryptography.
We describe three activities. The first is a class activity about using public key cryptography. The other two focus on the alphabetic rotation cipher, which is often known as the Caesar cipher. The material includes both non-programming and programming activities.
